Celebrating the sacraments is at the core of Donaghmore parish life. Our big moments in life are marked in a solemn way from womb to tomb.

Baptism Arrangements

Baptism is celebrated in our parish at the following times:

Reconciliation (Confession)

Eucharist and First Communion

In the Parish of Donaghmore, First Communion is celebrated when children are in Primary 4. Preparation for First Communion is shared by the parish, the school and the family. In school children follow the Alive-O Religious Education programme.

Confirmation

Confirmation is celebrated each year in our parish. Dates will be available in spring.

Marriage Arrangements

Sacrament of the Sick – Housebound

The sick and housebound of the parish are attended by in their homes by the members of the parish team every month. Ministers of the Eucharist are also available to distribute Holy Communion to the sick on Sundays or in time of need.

Funerals

In the event of the death of a loved one, please contact Fr. McAleer see here. The priest will discuss the Requiem Mass and arrangements for burial in the parish.
